Elderberry Glazed Brussels Sprouts from the Food Fairy
The Food Fairy created their Elderberry Glazed Brussel Sprouts for one of their many Personal Chef clients who was looking for a creative way to add our immunity boosting elderberry to their diet.  These sprouts are delicious!

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, medium, stem trimmed
  • 1/2 large onion, cut a bit smaller than sprouts
  • 1-1/2 to 2 TBLSP finely chopped fresh sage
  • 2 TBLSP melted coconut oil
  • 3 TBLSP Norms Farms Elderberry Wellness Syrup
  • 1 TBLSP Balsalmic Vinegar
  • 1-1/2 tsp Maldon or sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  1. Preheat oven to convection roast 425 degrees or non convection 450.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil and spray the foil.
  3. In a bowl, mix together all of the ingredients. Place the brussels sprout mix in a single layer on prepared pan. Bake on the top shelf in the preheated oven for about 18 minutes or until lightly charred and crisp tender. Enjoy!
