Norm’s Farms Elderberry Extract is made from farm-fresh North American elderberries. Our Extract formula is very simple…we use a gentle water process to extract the elderberry and remove the seeds before we bottle it.
Our Elderberry Extract tastes great, like a dry red wine: it’s not sweet, and it’s not bitter. You won’t find any added alcohol, sugars, artificial sweeteners or ingredients in our products.

If you are an avid follower of my blog, GlamRiver then you already know that I am really big on supplements. I despise prescriptions unless absolutely necessary and I think almost every condition can be treated and in some cases cured by what you consume. Changing your diet and taking supplements is a much better and healthier way to go than taking a bunch of prescriptions! For all the supplements I have tried I have never tried Elderberry Extract. Elderberry Extract is full of antioxidants and is great for boosting your immune system and can even help with allergies (which I have)! I don’t know if all Elderberry Extract is tastes as good as this one from Norm’s Farms but this stuff is delicious! I just usually take it straight just because it’s that good. It has a soft sweet taste and it does not have any added alcohol, sugars or other artificial sweeteners. However, I don’t know if this defeats the purpose but I have to confess, I actually used this Elderberry Extract to make a super yummy Elderberry Martini! I just wanted to share in case you wanted to enjoy one yourself! Your welcome!

Nearly perfect. The Elderberry Extract itself is excellent. The reason this product merits 4 stars instead of 5 is the bottle. It is nearly impossible to pour the extract from the bottle without spilling some. A dribble here and a blob there all add up to wasted money, and the cleanup irritates me. If the only option is a bottle that doesn’t pour well, the cap should contain an eye dropper. That said, I will continue to purchase the product. It provides great health benefits, tastes good, and I waste nothing now that I am using an eye dropper (purchased separately) to get the extract out of the bottle.

I have to agree with other reviews here. I believe Norms is the very best tasting on the market. I have been using this brand for a couple of years now. I agree that it absoultely helps with allegeries. I have always had congestion and broncillis every year, but since I have started this no colds at all. What’s not to love? I also love the wellness syrup as a hot tea. Norms is one great company.

I am in love with this product. My kids and I took it daily every day last winter and I truly believe it helped fight off colds. One bottle of extract will last quite awhile as you only need a teaspoon at a time. I do agree that the bottle is super hard to pour without spilling. And considering that the extract stains clothes and countertops – be careful pouring. I have convinced so many friends to try it out as part of their daily vitamin regime. It is great stuff!

Just bought some at a local health foods store here in Fayetteville. I have no doubt it will perform as advertised. My only complaint follows two other here: it is extremely difficult to get out of the bottle…you can spill more than you get in a spoon!!! Maybe the bottle could be sold with an eye dropper in it? or the cap reconfigured with a funnel tip? Were it not for this I would probably go ahead and give it a five-star review.

Elderberry Extract is the best immunity booster I’ve ever tried and the most cost-effective supplement in my kitchen. I take a teaspoon as soon as I feel run down and it has stopped oncoming colds in as little as three hours. My healthy elderly aunt has used it for many years. It changed the life of a friend who always got frequent colds at her daycare center and now no longer gets any! Norm’s has no added sugar or glycerine, so is more effective than other brands I’ve tried. I swear by this product and take it every day in winter. Healthcare and school workers should have this on hand daily.

Great stuff
I'm a school teacher and I take it every day to fight off the constant onslaught from work. I still get colds, but they don't stick around long enough for secondary infection like they used to. TThis tastes way better than the over sugared elderberry juice at the health food store. It tastes a bit like frozen raspberries. I never have trouble dispensing it because I have a ton of those medicine cups that come with kid's medicine and the other brands of elderberry I've tried. I make sure the edge of the jar is touching the clean measuring cup so it doesn't dribble.

Thankful for Norm's
I read about elderberry after having my son--while looking for natural ways to boost his immunity. I mix Norm's extract with his milk daily. He gets sniffles and colds--but they go away SO quickly. My husband and I also started using elderberry when we start to feel under the weather--and I swear by this product. It is truly amazing. I read the note about the difficulty getting it out of the bottle without spills--I press my measuring spoon tightly against the very top of the bottle and gently pour--almost no spilling!

I love the flavor and so does my picky child. It is a unsweet juice like a sip of wine without the alcohol. Everyone around me has been sick. I have been taking this everyday since I've received it and so far no sickness. Everyone around me has been sick with the exception of me. Only thing I would love to see is a small dropper as the lid rather than the screw top so I don't lose any when I pour into the tsp. Using the product!
I have used Extract & Wellness Syrup for a couple of years now, but not regularly. It wasn't until recently that I realized that when I use it regularly, I really do feel better & healthier. I got a cough earlier this winter, & it did hang on for several weeks. That is when I began to use the extract consistently. The cough went away, & I cannot attribute it to anything other than taking the elderberry products - 1st the Wellness Syrup (because it tastes so good in tea), & then the Extract when I ran out of the Syrup. I have since ordered more & have given 1 of the bottles to a friend to see if it also helps her. We're having pretty severe winter weather right now up here in Michigan, but I think that at least we two are going to stay well.

Norm's Farms Elderberry products are great! They taste great and are good for you. This extract came at the perfect time, so we can help to prepare our immune systems for cold and flu season. I was fortunate enough to try them through Tryazon in exchange for my honest opinion. The best part of the elderberry products is that they kids love them! The only thing that is bothersome, is that they are not certified organic. I did however, reach out to the company, and they assured me that they rarely need to address pests using pesticides. I’ve ordered two separate times from Norms Farms because I couldn’t stand to be without the extract. My whole family ages 1 to 36 take the extract (and wellness syrup, if needed,) daily. I love that I can give this to ALL of my kids(ages 1-8). I have added it in yogurt so far and I just recently made cupcakes with it. It is a little better if you are taking it plain but blends right in with other food. It helped cut a lot of the sweetness in the icing I made the cupcakes with. I usually use elderberry gummies for my kids but my 1 year old was unable to take the gummies and it's a little more convenient to add to yogurt or something instead of always having to have the gummies.

The extract is wonderful product but it was missing from the order. My previous order went missing. Possible theft from mail room. I reached out to the company to see if they can assist with possibly tracking or putting in a claim with mail carrier since I really don’t know what happened to it. Never heard back. The last few years I have tried many different brands of Blackberry products. Norms Farms product are at the top of the line. I have recommended and ordered several bottles to friends and family members.
