Norm’s legacy of agriculture and land preservation is carried on by his son Rodger Lenhardt, along with his wife Ann and their daughter Erin. Over the years, they have kept the vision of sustainable farming alive through elderberries. After becoming the experts in elderberry cultivation and learning as much as they could about product manufacturing under a different business name, the family founded the Norm’s Farms product business in 2013. The line of pure and simple elderberry extracts, syrups and preserves are sold in independent health food stores, co-ops, Whole Foods, Ingles, Lowes Foods, Kroger and other specialty grocery stores across America. With clean ingredients, immune boosting power and numerous wellness benefits, the popularity of Norm’s Farms products continue to grow.
In 2017, Norm’s Farms took the next step to grow their business by joining with two other families to become the first vertically integrated company focusing on elderberry products in the United States. Today, the Norm’s Farms family is made of up of the Lenhardt, the Bennett, and the Mareth families—all committed to products that offer “Health on Your Terms”. Sustainability and quality have always been a part of the Norm’s Farms story. Today, we are proud to be the go-to purveyors of pure North American elderberry, farmed and cultivated with care to deliver a full range of wellness benefits and immune support.
