Whole Foods is ordering!

Whole Foods is ordering!
It's true! We've been working hard to improve our recipes and packaging in order to get into Whole Foods, and we did it!  You can now find our products in Whole Foods stores in Asheville, Wilmington, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Raleigh, North Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and Cary (visit our locations page for the most recent list of places you can buy our products).

Thanks to North Carolina Department of Agriculture

We want to extend a huge thank you to our own NC Department of Agriculture for all the help they have given us along the way.  Their support on every level is incredible and the Flavors of Carolina Shows are a good example. The state sets up and sponsors the Flavors of Carolina events in order to bring small companies like our own in front of buyers like Whole Foods.  Norm's Farms attended both of this year's events and it was at these shows that we met buyers from some of the 10 Whole Foods stores in our state.  Their response to our products was overwhelmingly positive!  Within a few days of the show in Charlotte we heard from the regional buyer for their Whole Body section, and...(drum roll here, please)....they want our Elderberry Extract and Elderberry Wellness Syrup!  In fact, the regional buyer wants to be sure that our products are in every NC store within a very short time.

We are so grateful for the opportunity, and so grateful to the many, many folks that have helped us get to this point.  We are especially grateful to all of the wonderful independently owned markets that have taken on our products, educated us to what their customers want, and taken a chance on us.  As always, we have lots of good work ahead of us: We want to meet and get to know our local Whole Foods buyers, support each store with demonstrations and education, and get to know our local Whole Foods customers, too, just as we have done and continue to do with independently owned markets.

It takes a village to raise a little company like Norm's Farms.  It feels like our village just got a little bigger!  Thanks, everyone!
