The Raleigh Midtown Farmers’ Market is in its 10th year and has become famous for the wonderful produce and locally produced foods available there each Saturday morning. The Midtown Farmers’ Market is also home to a variety of fun events, including an Iron Chef Challenge in its second year. The event challenges chefs to create culinary masterpieces using limited resources, secret ingredients and fresh finds directly from the market. This year chefs from 41Hundred, Coquette Brasserie, Mura @ North Hills, and Vivace Raleigh competed for the Iron Chef trophy. This year’s winner, the Chef from Vivace, selected our Blueberry Elderberry Preserves to create the winning entre of Ground Pork With Bullhorn Pepper Agnollotti, Creamed Goat Cheese from Prodigal Farms, Blueberry Elderberry Preserves from Norm’s Farms, and Lemon Dressed Micro Greens.
