To make elderberry juice, you generally use 2 tablespoons of elderberry syrup or extract for every 1 cup of water. For a unique touch like the drink in the picture, use sparkling water (mineral water or club soda). You can adjust the amount to your preference, but this is a good starting point for a balanced flavor.
While both our Pure Elderberry Extract and our Elderberry Bee Wellness can be used, the elderberry extract only has 1g of natural berry sugar. Our Elderberry Bee Wellness has a second gram of sugar per serving with the added honey.
Dilution | When using our Pure Elderberry Extract, start with a small amount (e.g., 1-2 teaspoons) and add more water until you achieve your desired flavor and concentration.
Sweetener | If you prefer a sweeter juice, you can add honey or sugar to taste, or use our Elderberry Bee Wellness Syrup instead of extract is already perfectly sweetened.
Serving | You can enjoy elderberry juice chilled with ice or serve it hot with a twist of lemon.
Storage | Store any unused elderberry juice or syrup in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
